UCPS celebrates Class of 2024 in June

Union County Public Schools (UCPS) will honor the graduating Class of 2024 with ceremonies from June 10-12. All traditional high school graduations will be live-streamed for public viewing on the school’s YouTube page. The comprehensive high schools will hold ceremonies in their athletic stadiums. If severe weather occurs, alternative dates have been scheduled and principals will directly inform seniors and their families about any changes to their graduation date or time.

The Class of 2024 includes approximately 3,200 graduates who have earned nearly $119 million in scholarships. This total will rise as more graduates report additional offers to their high schools.

Superintendent Dr. Andrew Houlihan expressed his pride in the Class of 2024, saying, “I am extremely proud of our graduates. Over their high school years, I have interacted with many of these students and I continue to be impressed with their perseverance, creativity and academic achievements. Whether they are headed to a college, the workforce or the military, I am confident that they will do well and make us proud. I want to congratulate each graduate and their families on a job well done.”
