What do you teach and why did you become a teacher?

I currently teach second grade, but have also taught kindergarten and first grade. When I was in second grade, I decided that I wanted to become a teacher because my teacher inspired me.

My students inspire and challenge me to learn new things about myself and the world daily.

Always believe in yourself and remember that you can make the world a better place.

What is a professional motto or quote that you “work” by?

"You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make." -Jane Goodall

What do you enjoy most about working in UCPS?

UCPS is a supportive community full of talented and passionate people. There is a shared vision and focus on growth and continuous improvement.
