What are your most and least favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is reading because I like when our teacher reads to us. Some of my favorite stories have been The Tiger Rising; we will read The Only Ivan soon. When Ms. (Lisa) Baucom I can picture the characters in my head. After reading different paragraphs we can react to it.

My least favorite subject is specials – well I like art and music, it’s just PE (physical education).

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Paris. I hear about their food and it sounds yummy. I especially want to try the bread. I like how they talk – it’s English but with an accent. I would want to visit the Eiffel Tower and see the beaches near Paris. If they are as pretty as they look in the pictures, I want to go.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I see myself working with my dad. He works on houses. He does interior remodeling. I can see us smiling and doing stuff together. I love spending time with him. I would have to wait until I’m 18. I do have my own tools at home and I hang up all my own stuff on my walls.

I really like arts and crafts.

What do you do for fun?

I like recess here because I bring my favorite toy. It’s a koala ball that you can squeeze and the head gets big. At home, I like riding my four-wheeler. I love trying to do tricks on it. I’m learning how to do a donut. Our entire backyard is a track with jumps in it. I like racing with my brother and sister. I win half the time.

I go to my friend's house and she has a big pool. We have sleepovers and swim in the pool.

If you had to choose between spaghetti or pizza, which would you choose?

I would choose pizza because I don’t like spaghetti that much. I like pepperoni and cheese on any crust. I like it cold for some reason, it just seems to taste better.

What three words best describe you?

This is what my mom and dad tell me:

I like cheering people up and making them smile. Sometimes I can be a bit silly.

What is your happiest school memory? 

The first day of school is my happiest memory. There was a lot going on but when I saw my reading teacher, I gave her a big hug. When I walked into my classroom, I felt really welcome there. I made some new friends and saw some of my old friends. The school had a new big playground, which was nice, even though my favorite thing to play on was gone.

What advice would you give your parents or teachers?

My advice to my mom would be to cook my favorite foods more often. Hopefully, she will cook tacos tonight.
