Karyson London (New Salem Elementary)

What are your most and least favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is math because I like to solve problems. I like when we play games to learn, too. My least favorite subject is reading, even though I have a really good teacher, I’ve never been in love with it. Some of the things I do like to read are fiction books.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

I’d travel to Africa because I love animals and want to see them in their natural habitats. I’d love to see the animals that live there and go on a safari.

This summer, I'll be traveling to Paris with my grandmother to celebrate my birthday. I’m excited about that, too.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I’d like to be a CNA (certified nurse assistant) because I like to help people. I’ve also thought about being a vet or a dog trainer.

What do you do for fun?

I like to play with my brother and my dogs. I love going to the pool and swimming.

If you had to choose between spaghetti or pizza which would you choose?

I’d choose spaghetti because that’s one of my favorite foods. I like it with meat sauce and my grandmother makes the sauce from scratch. She grows tomatoes.

What three words best describe you?

  • Hard worker
  • Enthusiast
  • Loving

What is your happiest school memory?

This year in AIG reading class, after we finished reading Pursey Jackson, we had a Greek day. I got to dress up as one of the goddesses known for agriculture. We also had a presentation about the characters we were representing.

What advice would you give your parents or teachers?

This relates to everyone, “Eyes are always watching and little ears are always listening.” Be your best so you can be an example.
