What are your most and least favorite subjects and why?
My favorite subjects are reading, writing and math. I like to read non-fiction books. It’s exciting to read about real life. I like math because wherever you go it’s something you need and use.
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?
I would travel to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, especially at night because it shines and sparkles. I was watching videos online and it made me curious to see it. I’d also love to go and eat bread because I’ve heard it’s delicious.
What careers interest you?
I’m interested in medical careers like a doctor or nurse because I like to help others. Right now, I’m taking a medical careers class that teaches us about many available options. I’m a person who likes to help others; it comes naturally to me. I’m glad that it is a focus here. This class lets me find out what people do in different fields. I get to see what goes with my interests.
What clubs or activities do you participate in? And why?
I play soccer and just found out I made the team at school. I started playing when I was little. My mom said I would pick up dolls; I’d pick up the soccer ball. I’m excited to play the first game.
I love making crafts, especially bracelets. I also play the piano at church. I’ve been playing for about a year now.
If you had to choose between spaghetti or pizza, which would you choose?
I would choose pizza. My favorite is the supreme with all the toppings or pepperoni on a thick crust with extra cheese.
What three words best describe you?
- Helpful: When other students don't understand something, I explain it to them. I wouldn’t want to be in class not understanding something.
- Mentor: I like to teach others.
- Sporty
What is your happiest school memory?
My happiest memory was in fifth grade when I graduated from elementary school. It was the best day ever and a little sad because I had to leave my teachers. I was happy to come to middle school. I like it very much so far. Me and my friend used to do the daily announcements, and the principal gave us an award. We were so happy when we got it.
What advice would you give your parents or teachers?
There are good days and bad days but choose to focus on the good ones.
