Bryce Wiggins (Stallings Elementary)
What are your most and least favorite subjects and why?
My subject is reading because I enjoy reading books and writing. In my reading class, we do a lot of writing, too. I like mystery, it’s my favorite genre. The series I like in that genre is The Math Inspectors.
My least favorite subject is math. I find it boring and it can stress me out sometimes.
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?
I would go on the Disney Cruise Line to Disney World. I love Disney World and want to go on a cruise because I’ve been told they are fun. I’ve read about all the things you can do. I am going to Disney soon. It’ll be my second time but the last time I was only one.
I’d enjoy a cruise because I like to be on the water. Traveling that kind of way gives you more activities to try, too.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be an author. I have some books I’m working on now. As a side job maybe an actor, and who knows, maybe one of my books can be turned into a movie I can star in. I’ve written a series that I haven’t finished yet. I’ve probably written about three or four chapter books.
My friends Astrid and Cooper and I have published a book for our school library. The series is called The Crazy Holiday Adventures. We talked to our librarian about it and she told us to put it in a binder with a title page and everything a book has so students could check it out like other books.
What do you do for fun?
Reading and writing but I also like spending time with my family. I like it when we go to my grandparents’s lake house and ride their boat. Each month my siblings and I pair up with my mom or dad to do something fun for individual time.
I love building Legos and playing Mario video games. I collect Mario action figures, too.
If you had to choose between spaghetti or pizza which would you choose?
I’d choose pizza because of the variety of toppings and flavors. Beef and mushroom pizza with extra cheese is the best. I love pasta but it doesn’t have as much of a variety.
What three words best describe you?
- Talented
- Thoughtful
- Leader
What is your happiest school memory?
One of my favorite memories is a fundraiser we participated in last year. My class and I got to
go on the announcements to tell the other students about it. It was the Water for South Sudan fundraiser to help them get more water. Our goal was $1,000 and we raised about $1,600. This year’s fourth graders are doing it again.
What advice would you give your parents or teachers?
Everyone has ideas worth sharing, so people should pay attention to those ideas no matter who they are coming from. You never know what you might learn.
