What are your most and least favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is math because I find it easy. I like it because it helps you in the real world. My dad uses it for his job because he needs to know measurements. It’s good to know about finances and budgets, too.

I don’t have a least favorite subject.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

I would travel to New Jersey because I was born there. I have good memories from the time I lived there, especially making snow angels. I like the snow.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a boxer. I'm practicing it now. I recently went to see my coach's fight. It’s entertaining, and it can be dangerous, but you make good money. I enjoy the sport. My favorite fighters are Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.

I practice a lot of techniques and forms when I train. We do tons of push-ups, too. Sometimes we spar. I hope to compete when I’m ready.

My other career choices would be a soccer player or a mechanic.

What do you do for fun?

I don’t play a lot of video games because I’m usually at soccer practice. I like being the goalie. It can be scary when people are coming close to you to make a shot but it’s fun.

If you had to choose between spaghetti or pizza which would you choose?

I would choose spaghetti because my mom and dad make amazing spaghetti.

What three words best describe you?

  • Smart
  • Athletic
  • Determined

What is your happiest school memory?

My favorite school memory is from third grade when I won the school spelling bee and this year I came in third. I motivated a lot of people to try it when I won last year. I don’t remember what word I won with but I do remember what word I lost on this year. It was the word “normally.” I spelled it with two m’s instead of one. When my mom and I practiced at home, I had gotten it right. I love spelling so I’ll be doing it again next year.

What advice would you give your parents or teachers?

Just be yourself and think smart. It’s really advice for anyone.
