It is of utmost importance that Union County Public Schools [ UCPS ] always presents a strong, consistent public image. Our public image must be reflective of the high standards we set for our students and employees.

The public has high expectations for all materials and publications produced by this school district. Therefore, in addition to using a clear and consistent style, it is critical that materials be free from grammar and spelling errors.

The UCPS Style Guide has been prepared to help those who write, edit, design, or present on behalf of Union County Public Schools.
The consistent application of our logo on all print and web-based communications and materials, along with adherence to the other standards outlined in this manual, will reinforce the system’s image as a strong, unified school system committed to preparing all students to succeed.
